Hello friends and family!

I just wanted to update you on the Honey Bee Cafe project.  I have spent the last month buying equipment, ingredients, and setting up the Honey Bee pop-up at MVM.  With the help of family and friends here in Mexico the pop-up came together smoothly.  I am so excited to share that we have officially launched the pop-up at MVM.  We are fully operational and are providing delicious drinks and Mexican desserts to our visiting U.S. and local groups.  The pop-up will be a permanent addition to MVM.  For the summer the pop-up was a way for us to promote the HoneyBee Cafe Club with our visiting U.S. churches in hopes that people will get excited about coming back and volunteering at HoneyBee Cafe in the future.  This summer we had the opportunity to share about HoneyBee with three different groups from the United States.  They were the first to try the drinks and desserts that we have to offer and also learn about HoneyBees vision and mission for the future.  I also got the opportunity to work with my friend, Abby Wheeler, on an in-depth business plan for the cafe.  Abby was a great blessing in helping me think of HoneyBee as not only a ministry but also a business.
At the moment we are planning on opening the doors of MVM and HoneyBee pop-up to churches and youth groups in the surrounding area. Our hope is that we will create a space for youth to get together and have Bible studies, worship, and enjoy community time. As for the HoneyBee cafe and club we are still praying for a location as well as staff and volunteers to join us. We have pushed our start date towards the month of November so that we have more time to set up and promote the cafe in Atlacomulco.

Prayer!
Please pray for the recruitment of a barista.
Please pray for the volunteers that God will send our way.

Please pray for a location.
Please pray for patience and guidance throughout this journey.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and support. May God bless you!
